About
Before I plunged into web development, my knowledge of its inner workings was limited to what I learned creating templates for Myspace as a hobby in high school. Years later, after my plans to pursue a career in the medical field upon graduating from the University of Kentucky were suddenly derailed, I found myself gravitating back to technology. To level up my skills, I enrolled at DevMountain, completing their Full Stack Web Development course before powering on a career that has given me the opportunity to work at a marketing agency, an e-commerce platform, and a Fortune 500 company.
While developing features that elevate the customer-facing experience for the nation’s largest grocery retailer, I remain deeply invested in what allows me to disconnect from technology entirely. I spend my free time exploring new terrains, practicing hot yoga, and writing my debut novel. If you think I’d be an excellent fit for an open role you are hiring for, let’s set something up. Open Graph Tag Generator
Web application that dynamically generates Open Graph tags by using information derived from custom meta keys. The value set for all Open Graph tags is based on their meta counterpart or static placeholders, unless a custom value is specified.
WeatherFi
Web application that utilizes the WeatherAPI to generate a three-day weather forecast. Users can search by city and state or zip code to retrieve the forecast for their location. The forecast is visualized using a series of cards with current highlighted.
React Calculator
React-powered calculator with a stylish user interface. The expression is not evaluated until explicit computation is triggered by the user after the selection of an operator. Validation states are applied to buttons to minimize user error.
Quiz Time
An intuitive trivia game that tests players on their knowledge of video games using questions from the Open Trivia API. Visual cues are used to indicate whether the player's selection is correct or incorrect, and their progress is tracked with each question.
